Join us May 20th for “Heirloom & Charm,” a good old-fashioned get-together filled with ‘vintage chic’ art activities (flower arranging, anyone?), food trucks, and a beer & wine garden. It’s going to be a beautiful way to spend an evening. And it’s a great way for you, your family and friends to get a taste of what life is like here, which is nothing but charming.
Friday Night Happenings are back. And our first one in Beacon Park is going to be more happening than ever. Come join us on April 15th (tax day…what better reason to let off some steam). We’re going to have an Arts Festival, complete with communal arts tables for kids and adults alike, a live Samba band, food trucks, beer and wine. No RSVP necessary. We’ll just see you there.
Our favorite on-call chef (and cooking teacher) Patty Gamboa of Working Woman's Food is at it again, giving us an out-of-this-world cupcake recipe. Make her amazing Strawberry Cupcakes with Pink Lady Buttercream, for any spring occasion.
With the weather feeling more akin to summer than winter, Saturday afternoon was a picture-perfect day for the third annual Lunar New Year celebration at Beacon Park of Great Park Neighborhoods. Doubling the attendance from last year’s event, more than 2,500 people danced to live music, used their imagination with arts and crafts, and supported local artisan fairs at the night market. The pounding drums of joy were accompanied by joyful cheers and laughter by adults and children alike – all enjoying the one-of-a-kind traditional lion dance in the park.
The 3rd annual Great Park Neighborhoods Lunar New Year celebration. New neighborhood. More fun! This year's event will include adorable Lunar New Year / Year of the Monkey cupcakes, arts & crafts for the kids (and your inner child-like spirit), a parade of lanterns, live music, traditional Chinese Lion Head Dance, Pacific Rim beer & wine garden, a night market, and food truck court. Something for everyone.
FivePoint’s Beacon Park was recently recognized at “The Nationals” awards hosted by the National Association of Home Builders, taking home two first-place gold awards and 11 silver finalist awards. “The Nationals” salutes and honors the best in the building industry for their determination, integrity, creativity and endurance. This is the second year that FivePoint has been recognized with a national distinction by the National Association of Home Builders.
Once again FivePoint held their Holiday Bike Drive to help bring smiles to the faces of children in need during the holidays. Great Park Neighborhoods’ residents, Irvine homeowners and businesses came together and donated new bikes and helmets to help local families. The new bikes and helmets were donated to Families Forward, Riverside Charitable and the OC Community Housing Corporation, all non-profit organizations. With their help in distributing the gifts, many families now have a brighter holiday.
